Service
Keep the company records organised without blurring bookkeeping, director approval and accountancy responsibilities.
Agree which company accounts, cards and payment services are included, who raises sales invoices and who supplies missing records. Confirm the accountant and year-end date at the outset.
Routine bookkeeping maintains the underlying records and reconciliations. Directors remain responsible for business decisions, and statutory accounts, corporation tax and specialist advice require the appropriately appointed accountant.
A regular close and exceptions list gives the director and accountant a clearer record of completed work, unresolved transactions and information still required.
Identify the company bank and card accounts, how directors pay for business costs and who approves expenses. A company record should be supported by evidence. Questions about directors’ balances, dividends or the treatment of personal spending are referred to the appropriately appointed accountant.
Tell us the company year end, last completed period and what your accountant has already received or filed. Agree the bookkeeping periods and records needed. The handover separates completed processing from unresolved items; statutory accounts, corporation tax and company filings require their own agreement.
We support businesses in Cheltenham, Gloucester and Gloucestershire entirely remotely. Agree the scope with Antony by phone or email, provide records through the agreed online handover and grant named Xero access. Questions and handovers are handled remotely; no office visit or on-site appointment is needed or offered.
